Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Bling Girl Online (Pty) Ltd.

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you receive an incorrect, damaged, defective, or unsuitable item, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can assist you in line with this Return and Refund Policy.

1. General Return Policy

Customers may request to return eligible items within 7 days from the date of delivery.

Returned items must be:

  • Unused
  • Unopened, where applicable
  • In their original packaging
  • In a clean and saleable condition
  • Complete with all accessories, parts, manuals, seals, labels, or packaging originally supplied
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase or order details

Bling Girl’s current Terms and Conditions state that customers have 7 days to return purchases from the date of delivery, and returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a saleable condition.

2. Items That Cannot Be Returned

For hygiene, health, and safety reasons, certain products cannot be returned once opened, used, damaged, or removed from their original sealed packaging.

Non-returnable items may include:

  • Cosmetics
  • Makeup products
  • Makeup brushes
  • Nail care tools
  • Nail tools and accessories
  • Lashes
  • Skincare products
  • Personal care items
  • Products with broken or removed seals
  • Used, opened, damaged, or contaminated items
  • Sale, clearance, or final-sale items, where marked as non-returnable

Bling Girl’s current policy states that, for hygiene reasons, returns of cosmetics, makeup brushes, and nail care tools are not accepted unless they are sealed in their original packaging.

3. Return Process

Please do not send products back without first contacting Bling Girl.

To request a return, contact us with:

  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • Contact number
  • Email address used for the order
  • Reason for the return
  • Clear photos or videos, where the item is damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete

Once your request has been reviewed, Bling Girl will confirm whether the item qualifies for return and provide instructions for returning the product.

Sending a return request does not automatically mean the return has been approved.

4. Courier Fees for Returns

The customer is responsible for courier or shipping costs for returns and exchanges, unless Bling Girl confirms otherwise in writing.

Customers must ensure that returned items are packaged safely and securely for courier transport. Bling Girl will not be responsible for items damaged in transit due to poor packaging.

Bling Girl’s Terms and Conditions state that the purchaser is liable for courier and/or shipping costs for returns, and the purchaser must ensure that returned goods reach Bling Girl within the required period.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete, please contact Bling Girl within 7 days of delivery.

You may be required to provide:

  • Photos of the product
  • Photos of the packaging
  • A video showing the defect or issue, where applicable
  • Your order number
  • Courier waybill or tracking details

Bling Girl will assess the returned item to determine whether it qualifies for a refund, replacement, exchange, or other resolution.

The current Bling Girl Terms and Conditions state that damaged or defective goods must be returned within 7 days, after which the goods will be assessed to determine whether the customer qualifies for a refund.

6. Exchanges

Bling Girl may allow exchanges where the item qualifies for return and the replacement item is available in stock.

Exchanges are subject to:

  • Product condition
  • Hygiene requirements
  • Stock availability
  • Price differences
  • Courier costs
  • Approval by Bling Girl

If the replacement product costs more, the customer must pay the difference before the exchange can be processed.

If the replacement product costs less, Bling Girl may process a refund, credit, or adjustment, depending on the circumstances.

Courier fees for exchanges are for the customer’s account unless Bling Girl confirms otherwise. Bling Girl’s FAQ also states that, with all returns and exchanges, the purchaser is responsible for courier fees.

7. Refunds

Refunds will only be processed after the returned item has been received and assessed by Bling Girl.

If the return is approved, the refund will be processed within 14 days, less applicable delivery charges, unless otherwise required by law or confirmed by Bling Girl.

Bling Girl’s current Returns and Refunds section states that qualifying refunds are processed within 14 days, less applicable delivery charges.

Refunds may be made to the original payment method, bank account, or another approved refund method, depending on how the original payment was made and what Bling Girl confirms.

8. Delivery Charges

Original delivery charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to an error by Bling Girl or another legally recognised reason.

Return courier charges are for the customer’s account unless Bling Girl confirms otherwise.

9. Unavailable or Out-of-Stock Items

All products are subject to availability.

If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Bling Girl may offer:

  • A refund
  • A suitable replacement
  • Store credit
  • Cancellation of the affected item
  • Cancellation of the full order, where necessary

Bling Girl’s Terms and Conditions state that if an item is no longer available after placing an order, the customer is entitled to a refund for the amount paid for that item.

10. Order Cancellations

Customers may request to cancel an order before it has been processed, packed, dispatched, or handed over to the courier.

Cancellation requests are not guaranteed and will depend on the order status.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible. The customer may then follow the normal return process, provided the item qualifies for return.

Bling Girl’s payment terms state that customer cancellations may attract a 3% administration fee.

11. Returns That May Be Declined

Bling Girl may decline a return, refund, or exchange where:

  • The return is requested after the 7-day return period
  • The product has been used
  • The product has been opened and is hygiene-sensitive
  • The product is damaged due to customer handling
  • The product is not in its original packaging
  • The product is missing parts, accessories, seals, labels, or packaging
  • The product is not in a saleable condition
  • The item was marked as final sale, clearance, or non-returnable
  • The product was damaged during return transit due to poor packaging
  • The customer cannot provide proof of purchase
  • The return was sent without approval

Bling Girl may also deduct reasonable costs from a refund where applicable, including costs related to repackaging or restoring the item to a saleable condition. Bling Girl’s Terms and Conditions allow deductions from refunds for costs incurred as a result of the refund, including repackaging or restoring returned items to a resaleable condition.

12. Failed Deliveries, Incorrect Addresses, and Uncollected Parcels

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and ensuring that someone is available to receive the parcel.

If a parcel is delayed, returned, lost, or destroyed due to incorrect customer information, failure to accept delivery, unreachable contact details, or customer-related delivery issues, Bling Girl may not be able to issue a full refund.

Additional courier charges may apply for re-delivery, address correction, or return-to-sender courier fees.

13. Important Notes

Please inspect your order as soon as it is delivered.

Before using or opening a product, check that:

  • The correct product was delivered
  • The product is not damaged
  • The product is complete
  • The shade, colour, quantity, or variant is correct
  • The packaging and seals are intact

If there is a problem, contact Bling Girl immediately and do not use the product.
